IGN is debuting lots of Destiny 2 details for their IGN First spotlight. On the top of that list is a new video featuring Destiny 2’s social space – The Farm.
When it launched in 2014, Destiny offered the first persistent universe of its kind for console players. The Tower is a social space in Destiny that allows players to meet up virtually and hang out.
Players found themselves spending a lot of time goofing off or waiting for their friends in The Tower. In Destiny 2, Bungie has designed new ways to enjoy this resting period.
In the featured video below, Bungie’s narrative lead, Ryan Ebenger, gives us a sneak peak of the new social space called The Farm. From the brief tease, we can already see some improvements they are making on social spaces.
The Farm will be dynamic. Players will come and go and the space will evolve. Players have new ways to draw attention to themselves. They can show off their sweet loot or play a match of soccer in the nearby soccer field (seriously).
Check out the video below. Head over to IGN First’s page for new details dropping later this month. Bungie will release Destiny 2 on September 6th for PS4 and Xbox One and on October 24th for PC.
