Bioware has been careful with the information they reveal for their upcoming sci-fi action role-playing game. Now, four weeks away from Mass Effect: Andromeda’s release, the marketing team is heating up with promotional content.
Mass Effect: Andromeda is a departure from the original three games. In Andromeda, players take on the role of Ryder a few hundred years after (and a few million light years from) the events of Mass Effect 3. The races of the Milky Way galaxy have charted a path to the Andromeda Galaxy. Their goal is to populate, the explore, and to discover.
The 600-year long journey will bring players to a new unexplored region of the universe. The setting has the makings of a Star Trek-esque adventure, but, as you can see in the gameplay series, the characters of Mass Effect: Andromeda may resort to violence a tad more often than the crew of the Enterprise.
In the video below, you can see how players can change and build Ryder’s skills to fit to their playstyle. Players will also be able to unlock profiles. Profiles function like traditional classes did in the previous games, however, players can change them at any time. Assigning a profile will allow players to maximize their particular focus while also giving players the ability to create their own “class.”
With less than a month until Mass Effect: Andromeda’s release date, it’s easy to get excited for the upcoming sci-fi action role-playing game. Let’s hope the marketing team has a lot more promotional content for us to drool over. Mass Effect: Andromeda launches March 21 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
