Following another successful round of holiday/seasonal content, Blizzard has announced that Overwatch will celebrate the Chinese New Year. New skins, collectibles, and game modes are on the way.
Blizzard tweeted a video announcing the occasion. The Year of the Rooster clip (shown below) shows off a new skin for Mei.

This is the third holiday feature pack that’s come to Overwatch in only a few months. Like the Halloween and Christmas events before, the event will introduce new unlockable skins and emblems for characters. It will also feature a new unannounced game mode.
Blizzard’s holiday events are a great way to keep Overwatch’s fan-base entertained and engaged. If there’s something new and free to unlock, you can bet people are going to play it. I certainly will.
The festivities begin January 24th on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
