Bioware Unveals The Western Approach

Bioware’s Dragon Age series brought players to Ferelden and the Free Marches, grand and picturesque places, but limited. In Dragon Age: Inquisition players will be able to get a better glimpse of the fantasy world by travelling to diverse regions. Six new screens, revealed today, capture one of these new playable regions.

The Western Approach is a desolate place. Players will find windswept dunes, wide canyons, bleached stones, and the remains of the fortress of Adamant.

The Fortress of Adamant

According to Dragon Age: Inquisition’s official site, the fortress “had been built to stand as a bastion against the darkspawn spilling out from the Abyssal Rift.” It has long since been abandoned by the Grey Wardens.

If my experience with fantasy stories has any weight, players will make a triumphant return to the iconic castle in the upcoming game. Dragon Age: Inquisition will be available October 7 on Xbox and PlayStation consoles and PC.
