The sandbox title Project Spark has opened beta to Xbox One users today. The game strives to be a user-friendly developmental toolset where, as the slogan reads, “players create and creators play.”
Project Spark debuted back in E3 2013. At the time, the game was marketed to be a video game where players could easily create games and assets on their own.
There aren’t many community based games out there for any console. PC gaming has had long-lasting gaming communities in the past because of the creativity from game modifications. Project Spark looks like a viable alternative to PC’s community model – for the Xbox One.
Take a look at some of the games the community has already created below. If you’re interested, head over www.projectspark.com and enter your email. You will be notified when you can join in on the beta fun.
